WHAT IS IT?
Heels is a combination of modern dance styles with the wearing of High Heels. In our beginner session you will learn to walk, strut & pose and dance in time in your heels. Learn some technique and dance moves and create a fabulous routine as a group.
There will be an option to be filmed at the end of the class (for you to keep) n.b. this part is entirely optional but usually everyone feels so confident by the end of the class that they are desperate to see themselves.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
Anything you are comfortable in and can dance in but we suggest leggings/workout leggings and top. When people get into heels they really like to dress up – do some investigating and dress up if you want to!!
You need supportive comfortable heeled shoes – no higher than 8cm. These shoes should not be strappy, but cover the whole foot.
If you are a confident dancer higher heels if you are new to dance then a lower heel. I suggest to bring a couple of different heights of shoe/boot and decide once you get going. Trainers or jazz shoes are perfectly acceptable if you prefer those.
